About Hot Date Ideas
Hot Date Ideas began as a local activities and events site in San Diego called NearHere.com. After figuring out that it was competing with companies like Google and Yahoo (and not winning) the focus was changed to local date ideas, which never really got going before the partners decided to move on. A while later, Dave was between projects and decided to dust off the old date ideas and rework them into general ideas that could be used anywhere. Since then the site has changed to accomodate new types of content, but the focus has remained to provide the best dating suggestions and tips for all of those people out there searching for love.

Dave is the founder of Hot Date Ideas and was responsible for all of the original date ideas, romantic ideas, gift ideas, and other bits of content on the site. His current emphasis is web design, marketing, and the business side of things.
