About Hot Date Ideas
To give you a little history, Hot Date Ideas first started under another name as a local events site in San Diego. After figuring out that we were competing with companies like Google and Yahoo (and not winning) the focus was changed to local date ideas, which never really got going before my partner and I decided to move on. Some time later I was between projects and remembered all of the date ideas I spent time writing and decided to dust them off and rework them into general ideas that could be used anywhere. After a little designing and programming, along with a bunch of rewrites, Hot Date Ideas was born!
The site should be a great resource for anyone looking for things to do on a date, whether you've just started dating and need fun date ideas to impress that special someone, are already in a relationship and want to keep it going strong, or have even been married for a long time and just want to find better ways to enjoy each other's company with some creative date nights. Hot Date Ideas isn't unique in providing dating suggestions, but the difference is that these dates are researched, not quick thoughts I throw out there and then let you do the leg work. Through experience and talking, I try to address any potential stumbling blocks in the dates so that you can just read and get on with having fun.
