Date Description

Anyone who's ever been to a drive-in knows how fun it can be to go park and watch a movie, but be in your own little private space. There aren't many drive-ins around these days, but that doesn't mean you can't create one of your own with a laptop or portable DVD player! Find a nice place to park, like a secluded one in the woods, a spot at the beach overlooking the water, or on a hill with views of the city lights. Get a box, or something similar, to elevate the DVD player on the center armrest area, and climb into the back seat for some snuggling and a good movie.

To complete the authentic movie experience, bring along popcorn or movie candy like Jujyfruits, Hot Tamales, Junior Mints, and Whoppers. You can usually find them at video rental shops like Blockbuster, but call first before heading over. And don’t forget the soda pop!

This last point is very important, make sure your DVD player or laptop batter is fully charged and, in the case of the laptop, will play an entire movie.

If the back seat seems a little cramped, find a place where you can lay out a blanket and watch your movie under the stars.

We tried this on Friday and had so much fun! First i'd never heard of Honeymoon in Vegas but my boyfriend likes comedies so we picked that one and couldn't stop laughing. I love Sarah Jessica Parker and did not know she was in the movie until we saw the box, you should add her to the description. We're in college so we don't have much money but it was cheap to buy a few sodas, popcorn, and drive to a nice overlook. Positioning the laptop was kind of a pain because we didn't test it out before we went and it didn't fit very well between the front seats. People should test it out inthe car before they go.
