Valentine Date with New guy

asked in Dating Advice by:
Josefina (18 - 24 yrs) - February 11, 2010
I am in college and just this semester I made a guy friend in my math class. We have hung out a little but not much, today he asked me out for Valentines Day. He suggested ice skating and then I had to pick the next thing. I have no idea! I like him but not sure how strong I feel since I've only known him a short time. I like the ice skating idea because its a fun thing and not a lot of talking pressure. I don't know what to suggest. Help!

The ice skating is a good idea, for afterward you could listen to some live music and grab a drink at a jazz club, piano bar, or other local venue, or even catch a comedy show or magic act. Just thinking of mellow stuff you can do inside after skating. Em's idea about the walk is good too or you could take a drive to a spot for dinner and talk on the way. How about having a fire at the beach or some other outdoor spot and making s'mores? If it's going well you can hang out and look at the stars.
