Really weird question...

So, I've been dating this guy for almost a month now and I REALLY like him. Last night I went over to his house and wanted to know if he wanted to do something this weekend. He said he was busy and I asked with what. It took a LOT of coaxing out of him but he finally told me; he goes to arm-wrestling tournaments and is going to Maryland this weekend. Now, he's perfect for me in every way. But, I typically over-think things and try to find any little thing that bothers me to just let the person go (I have a lot of dating issues that are hard to get rid of, ugh). Do I let this arm wrestling thing bother me and the fact that he was going away this weekend without even telling me the truth? Or, do I just let this go and accept the fact that he is weird? I don't even want to THINK of what my friends and family would say :-. Yes, this is a weird and stupid question but, I need to know!

It sounds like you are over reacting about a small thing. Only you can decide if you will let it bother you. I don't see why you are so worried about this. He is just going to arm wrestle. Why are you so upset at the fact that he is going to Maryland for arm wrestling?

Competitive arm wrestling is definitely unusual but so what? I don't get Nascar in any way, shape, or form, but millions of people love it. At the 1-month point he probably should have come clean with his plans, but at least he didn't lie to you, you just had to drag it out of him. Maybe he's embarrassed or people have given him a hard time about this interest in the past. Let him go have fun with his buddies, he'll be back in a few days. Play your cards right and you might get invited along one of these times! ;)
