Why is intimacy so hard?

Hi i've been dating this girl for a while now and we're both crazy about but I'm clueless when it come to her dropping hints so i never know she's um... "in the mood". Lately i feel like she's been wanting to take our relationship to a more intimate level, unfortunately i'm really bad at reading her hints, so i just dont know how to talk to her about.

I wouldn't try to talk to her about it, girls don't generally want guys to ask them if they're in the mood or only try to be intimate if they think the girl's in the mood. As a guy, your job is to try when you're in the mood and think there's even the slightest chance of success. She'll stop you if she's not feeling it but she'll also appreciate and respect that you gave it a shot. Girls want guys to pursue and hunt, not ask. You'll figure out her cues as you go along.

just go for it, she is probably too shy and is nervous about making a move.
