Do you remember that AMAZING scene in 'The Notebook' where he takes her rowing, and there were all those swans swimming around, and then it started raining, and she found out he wrote to her after all (every day!), and they finally kissed and we knew they'd be together forever? Yeah...I got roped into that one too. Actually, that's kind of a lie, we were flying overseas and she "strongly encouraged" me to watch it with her. What can I do? We're going to be in a country where she speaks the language and I don't for a week, I gotta go with the flow.

Anyway, going out for a row is actually a pretty romantic thing to do. Lucky for you this is the perfect time of the year to do it! The days don't get any longer than this, which means plenty of time for outdoor romance after work. Surprise your sweetie by driving out to a nearby lake for a sunset row. Don't forget to bring along a bottle of wine and their favorite snacks - maybe some dark chocolate or strawberries?
