Share your Personal Soundtracks
Pour Some Sugar on Me reminds me of my first girlfriend. Every time I hear it. (That's a cheesy old Def Leppard song for you kids out there) And Red, Red Wine by UB40, a song I don’t even like, brings back a great night of downing wine coolers with friends while mom was out of town. So this got me to thinking about how music marks our way through life and that we all kinda build up our own personal soundtracks as we go along.
How is this romantic? Well, I think a little musical journey is a great way to share your lives with each other. Do it by pulling up the top-rated songs on your birthdays for every year you've been alive and laugh about the memories they bring back. It's actually pretty easy to do too. Through the magic of the interweb, you can find the #1 song on your birthday for every year you've been alive on this Wikipedia page and then listen to them on Grooveshark for free! No foolin.
Live, love, and share. That's what it's all about, right?Comments
